About
I grew up exploring the Appalachian woods of West Virginia, where I was born and raised. Little me ran around the garden and yard in my bare feet and mixed a nature soup I called “Swiptoast” out of rocks, twigs, and flowers in a ditch after a good rain. In my work, I endeavor to pay homage to her.
I’m 27 years old, vegan, and queer. I graduated from Union Adventist University in 2020 with a bachelor of science in graphic design, minor in fine art, and emphasis in communication. My wife and I moved to the Hudson Valley that same year and currently live in a little cottage outside Rhinebeck, NY. I love drawing and painting the natural world, reading sci-fi and fantasy, tending to my houseplants, and making playlists specific to my favorite cafés. I love food and am especially fond of chamomile, strawberries, and tomatoes. During the week I roast coffee at Irving Farm NY.
I’ve been living more intentionally in accordance with the seasons, their energies, and the phases of the moon; these influence my work!
